Gametime 2K15 Premier softball player Kella Cruikshank passed away at the age of 10.

Kella Cruikshank, born on August 6, 2015, was a multi-sport athlete who competes at a high level in both volleyball and softball.

She wore jersey #29 and plays as a pitcher, first baseman, and third baseman for FURYous – GameTime 2K15 Premier, based in Yukon, Oklahoma, while also representing Elba High School in New York on the women’s varsity volleyball team during the 2024–2025 season.

Kella has showcased her versatility and competitiveness through consistent highlight performances, recording multiple kills against teams such as Pavilion, Oakfield-Alabama, Caledonia-Mumford, Wheatland-Chili, Byron-Bergen, and Kendall Central.

Her growing list of highlights and contributions to team victories demonstrated her impact on the court and field, as well as her dedication to excelling in multiple sports.

According to reports, softball player Kella Cruikshank passed away in September 2025 at the age of 10. However, the cause of death has not been revealed.

Oklahoma Drive XVIII took to their official Facebook handle to mourn the tragic loss of Kella. They wrote,

Our hearts are very heavy today as a little one has hung her cleats. Please keep Gametime 2k15 and the Gametime Stars organization in your prayers. While our girls got to suit up today, today 10 year old Kella Cruikshank has laid her uniform to rest. Sometimes in the hype of the game, we forget in a moments notice that time is what we make it. We are praying for nothing but peace and comfort over her family during this time. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers!

Kaipo Norwood, a graduate of American Military University, also offered his heartfelt condolences and sent prayers to Kella’s family. He wrote,

They also asked everyone to join them on September 21, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. for a prayer vigil in memory of Kella Cruikshank.

Kella Cruikshank was born to her father, Sylvester Cruikshank Jr., and her mother, Cheryl Cruikshank.

As per Sylvester’s Facebook profile, he is originally from Anadarko, Oklahoma, and works at Easi.

On August 6, 2024, Sylvester took to his Facebook handle and wished Kella a happy 9th birthday. He wrote,

My #29 turning 9 today !!! She is my favorite daughter and ball player. Continue to be great on and off the field, anything and everything that comes your way is earned not given. Happy Birthday Kella !!! Daddy loves you, you’re always my MVP !!!

On the other hand, Kella’s mother, Cheryl, is originally from Binger, Oklahoma.

Currently, Sylvester and Cheryl are mourning the tragic loss of their daughter, Kella.
