Garrett Getts Whitlock, who was born on June 11, 1996, is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB).

The player then enrolled at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
In 2016, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Chatham Anglers. It was in 2017 when he finally achieved his dreams of going pro.
After his sophomore year, he got selected in the 18th round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft by the New York Yankees and signed with the organization.
