Get Moving! Amazing Athletes & TGA Programs Kick Off New Season at Redmond Senior & Community Center

The City of Redmond – Parks & Recreation recently announced the return of their popular children’s programs at the Redmond Senior & Community Center.

The program will likely start from the week of January 26.

This new season brings fresh opportunities for kids to move, play, and develop important skills through fun and active classes.

City of Redmond – Parks & Recreation Bring Back the Childrens Program!

These programs are designed for children of different age groups and skill levels.

For younger children, ages 3 to 5, the center offers Multi‑Sports with Amazing Athletes on Mondays from 4:30 to 5:15 PM.

It also introduces kids to a variety of sports, helping them develop basic movement skills, coordination, and confidence.

On Tuesdays, children in the same age group can join Karate Zoo from 4:00 to 4:45 PM, where they will learn the fundamentals of karate in a fun and safe environment.

For older children, ages 6 to 9, there are programs that focus on more advanced skills and physical fitness.

Additionally, Physical Education Sports with Amazing Athletes takes place on Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.

This class allows kids to explore multiple sports while learning teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy habits.

Likewise, TGA Golf & Tennis, held on Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, offers young athletes the chance to learn golf and tennis skills from experienced instructors in a supportive and engaging setting.

These weekly classes are a great way for kids to stay active, meet new friends, and gain confidence through physical activity.

The Redmond Senior & Community Center continues to provide a welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun while staying healthy.
