Imre has participated in the Olympics five times in the span of 20 years. He became an Olympian with his participation in the 1996 Summer Olympics held in Atlanta. He then competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens.

After that, he competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics held in Beijing. Imre then represented Hungary in the 2012 Summer Olympics held in London.

Finally, he ended his Olympics journey after competing in the 2016 Summer Olympics held in Rio. Thus, in 2016 Rio de Janeiro witnessed Imre’s last Olympics presence.

1996 Atlanta

Imre represented Hungary in the men’s individual epee competition and men’s team epee competition held in the 1996 Summer Olympics held in Atlanta.

He won his first Olympics medal, which was a bronze for the men’s individual epee competition. Similarly, his team gained the sixth position at the men’s team epee competition.

2004 Athens
