Pre-draft
Proceeding into the draft, the NFL Combine didn’t invite Giorgio. Throughout the California Golden Bears pro day, it was raining before performing any drills.
He kept running his prepared drills. However, he could not show his talents as every NFL scout went into an indoor practice facility.
Giorgio remained unsigned, going undrafted during the 2012 NFL Draft.
Later, he attended a tryout for the NFL team San Francisco 49ers, where he was the only kicker available.
