Sullivan County, Tennessee Community Mourns the Tragic Loss of the Blevins Sisters!

Maggie Blevins and her older sister, Riley Blevins, were just 9 and 11 years old when a house fire took their lives on Christmas.

According to reports, their mother, Nicole Dockins Blevins, survived after attempting to rescue her daughters but suffered catastrophic injuries.

She is currently being treated in an ICU burn unit in North Carolina, where she faces a long and painful recovery.

Nicole sustained multiple injuries, including broken ribs, a collapsed lung that required a chest tube, and third-degree burns from her neck down to her buttocks.

Her hair was burned, and she will require extensive skin grafts. She has also been placed on a feeding tube and is experiencing severe pain along with overwhelming grief.

Reports state that Nicole was forced to jump from a second-story window to save her own life.

The fire destroyed everything, including the family’s home and vehicle. Nicole has nothing to return to once she is released from the hospital.

During this tragic and difficult time for the Blevins family, community members have organized a GoFundMe campaign to offer the support they need.

While the young sisters lost their lives in this tragic incident, the Blevins sisters are survived by their mother, Nicole, their father, Todd, and their stepmother, Cristy Blevins.

Following the passing of the Blevins sisters, not just the family members are grieving, but the entire community also seems to be expressing their support and sympathy for the family.

We also extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the Blevins family, friends, and everyone who knew them.

Rest in Peace, Young Souls!
