Gregg Berhalter Kids: Meet Sebastian, Santana, Lily And Delilah

This article was last updated by on

A former soccer player-turned-coach, Gregg Berhalter, is the father of four kids with his wife, Rosalind “Roz” Santana. They are Sebastian, Santana, Lily, and Delilah.

Among them, Berhalter’s only son, Sebastian, took a professional flight to soccer and currently plays in the MLS. His three daughters are also passionate about soccer, so many anticipate if they would walk that tread.

Gregg prefers to keep his family away from the media limelight. But with such an immense fandom, it is probably a tough thing to do, no?

Gregg Matthew Berhalter, born on August 1, 1973, is an American soccer coach for the United States national team (USMNT). He assumed the head coach role on December 2, 2018, replacing interim coach Dave Sarachan.

Under his wing, the USMNT reached round 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where he built a team of young rosters, including Folarin Balogun, Sergiño Dest, Christian Pulisic, and Tyler Adams.

A New Jersey native, Berhalter played professionally for 17 years (15 years in Europe & 2 years in his home country in the MLS).

He played alongside David Beckham, Robbie Keane, and Landon Donovan in his two seasons in the MLS at LA Galaxy.

After retirement in 2011, he started his managerial career as an assistant at his former team, LA Galaxy.

Then, Gregg worked for Hammarby IF and Columbus Crew SC before becoming a manager of the USNMT.

Berhalter, the 52-year-old soccer coach, is a proud father of four children: one son, Sebastian, and three daughters: Sanatana, Lily, and Delilah.

Gregg’s son, Sebastian Berhalter, is a professional soccer player. Born on May 10, 2001, he is 24 year old as of 2026.

He is a midfielder for the MLS team Vancouver Whitecaps FC (2022- now).

He is an alumnus of the University of North Carolina, where he played for the Tar Heels in 2019.

Subsequently, in 2020, the Columbus Crew of the MLS signed him & played for two seasons before the Whitecaps FC got him in a trade.

Greg Berhalter’s other kids (three daughters) remain relatively low-key than her soccer star brother. But there is no denying that their blood has the same soccer enthusiasm.

Even if their date of birth is unknown, Sebastian has an age gap of a few years with his two sisters, Santana and Lily.

But the age gap would be greater than the youngest, the fourth-born, Delilah, born in the early 2010s.

Does Berhalter’s Daughters Also Play Soccer?

Yes, they are passionate about soccer, but none of his daughters have landed the professional mark.

Gregg’s daughter, Santana Berhalter, played soccer at Saint Ignatius College Prep, where she was the class of 2022.

She is a student at Indiana University Bloomington (2022-26), pursuing a sports management and marketing degree. Her LinkedIn profile shows she has a side job as a retail sales worker at Bluemercury.
