Schyler Oldham, a Upton, Kentucky native and student-athlete at Hart County High School, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at an untimely age of 18, leaving his family and loved ones devastated.
According to reports, a tragic accident on Interstate 65 claimed the life of a Hart County High School senior, Schyler Oldham, on Thursday morning.
The crash occurred near the Bonnieville exit around 11:00 a.m., according to Kentucky State Police.
Public Affairs Officer Katan Parker said troopers responded to the scene near mile marker 68 northbound, where two vehicles were involved in the collision.
Schyler Oldham was pronounced dead at the scene.

He proudly represented Hart County High School as both a member of the football team, the Raiders, and the cheer team, and was set to graduate in 2026.

Schyler Oldham was not just a great athlete but also an amazing son to his parents. He was born in August 2007 as the eldest of three children to parents, Trenton and Tammy Oldham.
Schyler was a loving brother to his two younger sisters, Marie and Ruby Jane.
In addition to his parents and sisters, Schyler Oldham is survived by his grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and the entire family.
His remarkable contribution to the sports field and his kind nature will always remain in the hearts of his loved ones.
