On December 16th, 2025, the world lost a bright light with the sudden and unexpected passing of Carmelo Anthony Lee Burston, affectionately known as MELO.

Born on August 27th, 2006, Carmelo was the cherished only son of Erika Robson and a source of strength, joy, and love for his entire family.

Carmelo’s life, though tragically short, was marked by resilience and warmth.

Despite enduring profound personal losses this past year, including the deaths of his MeMaw and father Thierry, he remained strong, ambitious, and full of life.

His laughter and sense of humor could light up any room, and his love for basketball, sports, and time spent with his siblings brought joy to all who knew him.

Erika Robson shared her heartbreak, saying,

“He was my right-hand man, my strength through life’s hardest moments. We have been through so much together, and he never stopped showing up with courage, love, and determination.”

She and her family have asked for support to cover funeral and memorial expenses, emphasizing that every donation, prayer, and share helps honor Carmelo’s memory.
