Growing up, Heidi had a clear conscience; she knew her priorities were; education and family.
She was such an understanding little girl that she sold chicken eggs to support her family. Age does not mature you; responsibilities do!
Moreover, she also published her local newspaper when she was just a child. Her parents must have been very proud of their oldest daughter as she wrote about the events in the neighborhood.
Heidi Strobel Education
After completing her high school education, Mrs. Hamel attended Drury University, a liberal arts college in Springfield, Missouri. She graduated from Drury Uni, majoring in exercise physiology, physical education, and secondary education.
She did not stop educating herself as she is working on her master’s; planning to work in the nursing field.

Heidi has an attractive professional career. She has worked as a firework company manager and as a sales representative for a lingerie company.
Moreover, she has worked as a secretary in a doctor’s office too.
There is no connection in her works; how does being a manager for a firework company relate to being a doctor’s secretary? That’s why her career is fascinating.
Lastly, she has recently begun a new career as a country music songwriter.
Heidi Strobel | Net Worth
Most sources speculate her net worth to be in multi-million, but we beg to differ.
Even if she had multi-million laying around in her bank account, she would have donated it to some third-world country; that’s how she rolls.
Our experts indicate that her net worth is no more than a million dollars which she earned from her TV career and her profession as a physical education teacher.
On the other hand, her husband, Cole Hamels, has an estimated net worth of $60 million paired with $23 million per year.
Trivia and Facts
Heidi Strobel enjoys jogging and likes listening to contemporary dance music and maybe dancing too. Likewise, she is also fond of writing poems.
She has described herself as having an enthusiastic and determined personality in addition to being very conscientious.
When asked what political office she would like to engage with, she replied, ‘State Board of Education.’ The motive behind it was to raise the importance of exercise and health education in schools.
Heidi Strobel is a member of the Missouri Teacher’s Association, the National Athletic Trainer Association, Drury Teacher’s Association, and the Missouri Association of P.E., Health, Recreation, and Dance.
She is a fitness freak and even had abs in her prime days; we are not sure if she still does as she is getting old.
When she would be in her bikini, one could see her impressive abs. She probably worked hard for those muscles.
The Survivor Series and more
She was also one of the contestants for Survivor: The Amazon, an American CBS competitive reality TV series, in 2002.
Fans and followers remember her the most for stripping with Jenna Morasca, for peanut butter, Oreo cookies, and a bottle of soda in front of national television.
Reportedly, she joined the series in hopes that she could pay off her loan by winning the competition, which did not happen, sadly.
The following year, Heidi posed for the cover of Playboy magazine alongside the winner of the Survivor series, Jenna Morasca.
Heidi initially wanted to appear on ‘The Amazing Race’ but opted for ‘Survivor’ after Mark Burnette insisted on it.
Moreover, in 2004 and 2005, Mrs. Hamles appeared in I Love the ’90s, a TV show produced by VH1.
Heidi and Cole decided to donate their home worth $9.75 million to Camp Barnabas in December 2017. Accounting for inflation and price hike in real estate, the house would now be worth upwards of $15 million.
Heidi Strobel and Cole Hamels
On the 31st of December, 2006, Heidi got married to her longtime boyfriend, Cole Hamels.
The couple first met each other in 2004 when Heidi threw a ceremonial first pitch at a home baseball game.
They met in Florida when Cole Hamels played for the Clearwater Phillies, a minor league baseball team. Heidi caught Cole’s undivided attention when she threw out of the first pitch of the game.
Cole Hamels asked for an autograph along with a date after the match; this would be the turning point in Heidi’s life.
A charming, handsome baseball pitcher asked out a simple farm girl. Cole was also the one who proposed the marriage.
Some fans and followers initially suspected that Heidi might be a lesbian, but given the fact that she has been married to Cole for more than a decade flushes the suspicion down the drain.
She also has four children with him, which further adds as evidence of her heterosexuality.
Heidi and Cole have two sons and one daughter together, an adopted daughter, four kids in total.
The oldest child and first son, Caleb, was born on the 9th of October, 2009.
Similarly, their second child, Braxton, was born on the 2nd of November, 2011. Heidi shared the news of her pregnancy via Twitter on the 5th of June, 2009.
Moreover, the couple’s first daughter, the youngest kid, was born in 2016 who they named MacKenzie.
Heidi and Cole decided to adopt a baby girl from Ethiopia in 2012 who they named Reeve Kenen.
The Couple’s Philanthropy
Moving on, the couple has established a non-profit foundation named Hamels Foundation, which specializes in helping the less fortunate children in whatever way possible.
The foundation was established in 2008 to help African orphan children suffering from AIDS.
The Hamels Foundation often takes half a million kids to get some fresh air.
Moreover, the biggest project the couple has engaged in is the Passion project.
This project aims to build a $3.5 million primary school in Namunda, a village in Panipat District of Haryana State, India, where most girls are bound to be anything other than high school graduates.
In addition to education, this primary school also equips the graduates with seven sets of skills which are sure to come in handy when searching for a job.
A typical classroom in Namunda looks like this: approximately a hundred children gathered around a tree.
In December of 2012, Heidi was shocked when she visited India for the sixth time. After Heidi arrived at Namunda, her truck was first greeted by excited children, followed by the village elders.
What was missing was the generation in between, a whole generation wiped by AIDS.
Heidi and Africa
For her Master’s degree thesis, Heidi visited third-world countries like Mozambique and Cambodia in Africa to see and experience first-hand what it was like for the less fortunate children.
She also visited Malawi, the nation where Madonna spent $3.8 million for a girls’ school that failed to operate.
Heidi concluded that the best way to approach the prevalent problem was with teaching.
With no violent political affairs, there was hope for a change in Malawi. The Hamels foundation partnered with the Global AIDS Interfaith Alliance to help the Malawi people.
The CEO of GLobal AIDS praised Heidi for her effort to help the AIDS victims.
“Celebrities want to parachute in the money without getting their hands dirty… Heidi loves to get her hands dirty,” commented CEO Todd Schafer.
“She is bubbling with enthusiasm and has no hesitation in declaring what she does not know. The only reason she is not there building the thing herself is that she has three kids,” he further added.
Social Media Links
Unlike her husband, Cole, she does not have any accounts on social media platforms. We guess she has her handful responsible for raising four children while helping other children in third-world countries.
Cole Hamels, on the other hand, posts quite often. The Hamels Foundation also has its own social media account.
