Shortly after turning pro, Henrik excelled in the money rankings at the Challenge Tour. Then, in 2001, he started golfing on the European Tour and even won the Benson & Hedges International Open on his first tour.
By 2007, he had already reached the top-10 rank of the Official World Golf Ranking. Moreover, he became the first golf player from Sweden to win one of the World Golf Championships.
