Police reports and eyewitness accounts confirm that multiple gunshots, around five in total, rang out, sending crowds running in panic.

Gipson, who was out with cousins and friends, was struck by a bullet and later died at the hospital.

Authorities believe he was caught in the crossfire and not directly involved in any altercation.

The case remains under investigation, with police searching for the shooter or shooters responsible.
