An incident happened at Holland Patent School District when a student was accused of hitting another child on the bus, resulting in the loss of free seat privileges.

The bus driver escalated the situation by alleging that the same student had slammed their younger sibling’s head against the window.

However, video footage and the bus garage supervisor later confirmed that the student did not hit anyone and that the other child had actually been instigating the situation.

Despite this evidence, the student still faced disciplinary consequences, while the mother struggled to get any response from school officials.

A Mother is Raising Her Voice After the School Failed to Act on Bullying and False Accusations!

On Facebook, Breanne Liddy posted a detailed account of the situation, expressing her anger at the school district’s failure to address bullying and her son’s mistreatment.

She highlighted how the bus driver targeted her son for the second year in a row, and how the district’s silence compounded her distress as a mother.

Breanne focused on the broader issue of favoritism within the school, stressing that students connected to coaches or influential parents escape accountability while her son is punished.

Her post underscored her desperation, recalling that her son had previously threatened self‑harm due to ongoing bullying.

She concluded by pleading for advice and help, stating:

I am f****** done!

No one is calling me back except for the supervisor for the bus garage who watched the video everyone else is ignoring me so please help

After sharing her frustration with the bus driver’s false accusations, the mother posted again.

In another post, she described how she witnessed the bus monitor grab her four‑year‑old’s wrist in an attempt to pull the child out of a seat to put on a coat.

She explained that she intervened immediately, took the coat herself, and removed her child from the situation.

Moreover, she also reached out to other parents, asking them to contact her if their children had faced bullying issues that the Holland Patent Central School District failed to address.

In the comment section, community members shared their perspectives, highlighting their own frustrations with similar experiences.

One person shared their POV, highlighting their disillusionment, saying,

“Unfortunately I went through that shit when I was in school I doubt anyone is going to do anything about it they care more about having good sports players than they do the other students you would have to probably go higher up like mayor or governor to get something done but maybe not even then.”

Another offered a path forward, saying,

“You can go to the school board, and the news, tell them what’s going on.. no child should be going through that…”

A third commenter expressed their approach, saying,

“They did nothing for my kids either so I had my kids handle it the old school way 👊 then brought them to get ice cream lol.”

This type of situation reflects a breakdown of trust between parents and school authorities, where allegations, miscommunication, and favoritism create a sense of injustice.

Also, this situation highlights systemic neglect and a lack of accountability.
