Born on September 24, 2002, in Waverly, Nebraska, Whitney is the daughter of Carla Lauenstein and the late Ryan Lauenstein.

Hailing from Wahoo, Nebraska, Luke joined Doane University after graduating from Wahoo High School in 2020. He is currently majoring in Business Administration.
The Doane athlete excels as a Hammer, Discus, and Weight thrower in Track and Field.
Notably, he finished first in Weight Throw at the Ward Haylett Invitational in January 2023, representing the Doane Tigers.
Similarly, he won the Hammer Throw event at Doane – Wesleyan Dual and Concordia Invite in 2023.
The couple has been together since July 2020 and took a significant step in their relationship by getting engaged in April 2023.
