The eldest brother, Zach Wilson, is a professional American football quarterback who played high school football at Corner Canyon and college football at Brigham Young University.

Before entering the NFL, Wilson had a successful college career at BYU. He started his first career game against Hawaii, becoming the youngest quarterback to start a game for BYU.

The Utah-born athlete played three seasons for the college before declaring for the NFL Draft.

The New York Jets drafted Wilson in the first round as the second overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft.

On July 29, 2021, he signed a four-year contract worth $35 million with an average annual salary of $8.7 million.

In contrast to his brother Zach, who also attended Corner Canyon, Isaac has chosen a different path for his college football career.

He is slated to join the University of Utah, whereas Zach pursued his college football at BYU.

Their father, Mike, has a history with the Utes, having played on the defensive line for two seasons during 1993 and 1994.

Committed To Utah Utes

Isaac Wilson, a highly regarded four-star quarterback from Draper, Utah, committed to the Utah Utes program despite receiving numerous offers from other schools.

He opted for the Utes over schools like BYU, UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State, and Oklahoma State.

Utah offered an offer to this talented local quarterback in early November of the previous year.

He shared the exciting news by posting an old picture of his father donning the Utes uniform.

Wilson is widely recognized as the second-ranked prospect in the state for the 2024 class, with his only peer in the rankings being his Corner Canyon teammate and offensive tackle, Isaiah Garcia.

His skills have earned him a spot among the top 15 overall quarterback prospects nationally, according to 247 Sports, Rivals, and ESPN.

Reflecting on his commitment, Isaac stated,

“I’ve been a Utah fan since I could remember and then we made that flip with Zach, who did his thing but now I’m excited to do my thing, go back to our roots and go back to where my dad played. I couldn’t be more excited to be committed to Utah.”
