Isaiah Jamal Briscoe was born to his parents, George Briscoe and Henrietta Briscoe, on April 13, 1996, in Newark, New Jersey.

His father, George, was a former guard and Hall of Famer at Stockton State College. On the other hand, his mother was a housewife.

Moving onto his siblings, Isaiah has two sisters, Iesha Briscoe and Iasia Herningway Briscoe, and a brother, George Briscoe Jr.

His sister, Iasia, was also a basketball player at Syracuse University.

Isaiah last played for the Iowa Wolves of the G League in 2022. Before that, he played for King Szczecin of the PLK in 2020.

During the 2019-20 season, Briscoe played for the Ratiopharm Ulm in Basketball Bundesliga. It is one of the highest levels of league basketball in Germany.

When it comes to his professional debut, Isaiah started his career with the Estonian club Kalev/Cramo as he went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft.

However, before signing for Kalev, he did appear for the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2017 NBA Summer League.

On July 6, 2018, it was announced that Orlando Magic had signed previously undrafted point guard Isiah Briscoe.

As per the deal, Briscoe would take home $5.9 million throughout the four-year contract.

On October 19, 2018, he participated in his first NBA game with the Magic.

He played against the Charlotte Hornets in an 88-120 loss, scoring 10 points and dished out three assists while coming off the bench.

Thereafter, he played in a total of 39 games during the 2018-19 season before the Orlando Magic waived him on April 4, 2019.

In those 39 games, Briscoe averaged 3.5 points, 2.2 assists, and 1.9 rebounds per game.
