Jennifer Kupcho is an American professional golfer who competes in the LPGA Tour.

Kupcho attended Wake Forest University, where she was named the Golf Honda Sports Award winner.

Similarly, as an amateur, she also copped the 2018 NCAA Division I Golf Championship. Eventually, she became the world’s No. 1 ranked women’s amateur golfer for 34 weeks.

Moreover, she was awarded the Mark H. McCormack Medal before turning professional. 

Jennifer set a 54-hole record in the 2022 Chevron Championship, beating the previous total by two strokes over Jessica Korda.

To sum it all up, in 2022, she participated in 26 events, making 22 cuts. In the same year, she made a whopping $1.95 million in earnings.

Likewise, Jennifer recorded four top-10 finishes, including wins at The Chevron Championship, Meier LPGA Classic, and Dow Great Lake Bay Invitational.

Mike and Janet raised Jennifer alongside their son, Steven Kupcho.

In her debutant season, her parents traveled with her. Jennifer’s father, Mike Kupcho, was her caddie for the entirety of the 2019 season.

Mike is still involved in the coaching scene. He is the Baseball Bellepoint LL 2’s Head Coach of the Bellepoint Youth Athletics.

Additionally, Bellepoint Youth Athletics is a nonprofit organization that promotes good sportsmanship and provides a safe and fun atmosphere for youths passionate about baseball and softball.

Kupcho’s New Caddie

Ever since starting her career in 2019, the American was associated with David Eller as her caddie.

The 2019 season also saw her caddie, David, picking up an award of his own, the Caddie of the Year award.

However, Kupcho and David parted ways following the end of the 2022 season. Now, Patrick Smith is working as her new caddie.

Hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, Smith was a former caddie at Rover Oaks Country Club and the Professional Ladies Tour Caddies Association president.

Moreover, Smith’s history reflects that he is an individual with versatile skills who worked in various roles, from coaching to managing.

Smith comes from a civil engineering background. He completed a Bachelor of Surveying from the University of Otago.

Additionally, the reason behind Kupcho’s and Eller’s parting ways isn’t revealed till now.
