The Taiwanese-American professional basketball player Jeremy Lin has a younger brother, Joseph Lin, who shares a similar profession. Also, meet his older brother, Josh Lin. 

Born on August 23, 1988, in Torrance, California, Jeremy Shu-How Lin is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Kaohsiung 17Live Steelers of the P. League+ in Taiwan. 

Despite being an Asian-American, he was the first Chinese/Taiwanese descent to play in the major leagues in NBA.

Jeremy scored a career-high 30 points against the 12th-ranked Connecticut Huskies in his college career. In 2010, he graduated from Harvard with a 3.1 GPA in economics.

The player made his season debut with the New York Knicks against the Warriors. Jeremy was a gifted point guard and an influential player.

Following his Knicks tenure, he played for other big teams, such as the Lakers, Hornets, Brooklyn Nets, Hawks, and Raptors in his career.

The U.S. NBA player also got to play in CBA with Guangzhou Loong Lions, where he signed for the 2022-2023 season. 

Although Jeremy was born in the U.S., Jeremy got his Taiwanese passport in 2020. Now, the player is signed with the Kaohsiung 17Live Steeler and plays in the P. League+. 

Additionally, Jeremy became the first player in Taiwan’s PLG history to record a 50-point triple-double.

Jeremy Lin was born to his parents, Gie-Ming Lin and Shirley Lin. His parents emigrated from Taiwan to the United States in the mid-1970s and settled in Virginia before moving to Indiana.

Gie-Ming and Shirley both attended Universities in Indiana to study engineering and computer science. 

Since both of his parents are only 5 feet 6 inches, Jeremy is comparatively taller at about 6 feet 3 inches.

As a child, Jeremy learned basketball from his father along with his brothers at the local YMCA.

His mother, Shirley, was also very supportive of Jeremy as an athlete. She helped form a National Junior Basketball program in Palo Alto, where Jeremy played.  

It can be considered that Jeremy was heavily inspired and supported by his parents. Especially her mother, worked with coaches to not let the sport affect Jeremy’s academics. 

Jeremy is the middle child of his parents as he has an older brother, Josh Lin, and a younger brother Joseph Lin.

Both of his brothers are big fans of the sport, and the younger brother himself is a professional basketball player.

Born on June 21, 1992, Joseph plays in the same league as his elder brother in P. League+ for the New Taipei Kings.

Before joining the Kings, he played for Taipei Fubon Braves from 2015 to 2022. While on the team, he was named the SBL 2015-2016 Rookie of the Year, becoming the first-ever rookie to be named to the All-SBL first team.

The former NBA star was married to the anonymous girl for many years, and he remained quiet for a long time before finally announcing he had his intimate marriage ceremony a couple of years ago on January 19 through his Instagram post.

Jeremy is also quite popular on YouTube, with almost 700K subscribers. In spite of having more than 91 million views in his 48 videos, he has been inactive for more than 2 years on his YouTube channel.
