Jessica Mendoza and her husband, Adam Burks, are raising two kids together. They have known each other since the year 2004.

Coming from different professional backgrounds, the two somehow crossed each other’s path and found their way to love.

Eventually, after dating for two years, they tied the knot in 2006.

Adam has a degree in civil engineering and is currently looking after his kids as a stay-at-home dad.

Jessica Ofelia Mendoza, born on November 11, 1980, is an American sportscaster and a former softball player.

She currently serves as a color commentator and analyst for ESPN’s coverage of MLB and Los Angeles Dodgers coverage on Spectrum SportsNet LA.

The California native attended Camarillo High School and was a member of varsity softball and basketball player.

At Stanford, she was a four-time All-American, four-time All-Pac 10 First Team, and Pac 10 Player of the Year.

Additionally, she was also inducted into the Latino Sports Hall of Fame (2016) and the Stanford University Sports Hall of Fame (2012).

Besides she also represented USA national team at the Olympics and won two gold medals (2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing). 

Jessica Mendoza Husband: Adam Burks

The member of ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball broadcast team, Jessica Mendoza, and her husband, Adam Burks, have completed their 18 years of conjugal life.

Mendoza’s better half, Adam, is also a former athlete who competed in multiple sports during his time at University High School.

After high school, he attended Eastern Washington University and graduated with a degree in civil engineering.

Burks worked as a professional civil engineer, however, after the birth of his first child, he became a full-time dad and took care of his kid.

Additionally, he is a former US Marine and also served in Operation Desert Storm in Iraq.

Jessica And Adam Are Raising Their Two Kids

The year Mendoza won gold at the 2004 Athens Olympics, she met her future husband, Adam.

They met at a wedding in Southern California and instantly started dating.

They did long distancing for some time as Mendoza was pursuing her softball career.

Eventually, in 2006, Jessica and Adam shared their wedding vows. The couple welcomed their first child, Caleb Ashton Burks, on August 13, 2009.

Following the birth of their son, Adam became a stay-at-home dad. At the time, he was working for the City of Moorpark, California.

Similarly, the Burks family was blessed with their second child, Caden Adam Burks, on August 19, 2013.

As Jessica is busy traveling for her work, Adam is assisted by her parents to look after their kids.

But if Jessica finds some leisure time, she never lets off any chance to spend it with her family. She goes on vacation with her husband and kids.
