Furthermore, he competes part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 51 Ford Mustang for Rick Ware Racing.

He began racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2016 and won several races during his time in that series.

The 2023 Xfinity Series Champion holds the record for being the youngest winner in the history of NASCAR’s national touring series.

Cindy Custer, his mother, commented, “We always used to say, ‘This will be the learning-curve year,’ and then all of a sudden, we’re winning races.”

Despite her nervousness every time her son races, she feels less anxious now that he’s in a stock car.

Cindy Custer still gets nervous each time her son races, but she’s less afraid now that he’s in a stock car. Though they go much faster than midgets, stock cars are also much safer, she said, with enclosed frames and fewer rollovers.

She appreciates the safety features, such as enclosed frames and reduced rollovers, in stock cars compared to midgets.

Sister: Kate Custer

He has an elder sister named Kate Custer, who used to drive him to Tesoro High School.

Kate reminisced about how she drove rather slowly, and Cole would tease her by saying, “Oh my gosh, everyone is passing you!”

For some people, it’s about going fast,” Cole said. “For me, it’s all about the competition.”

Wife: Kari Custer

Stewart Hass Racing Xfinity Series driver Cole Custer tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Kari Witt, on January 7, 2023.

The couple exchanged their wedding vows after dating for three years.

Cole Custer joyfully shared the news with fans through his official Twitter account, posting a photo of the couple with a caption that read,

“Married the girl of my dreams last weekend. An amazing night and I can’t thank everyone enough for making it so special!”.
