The 2020 Olympic bronze medalist John Peers is happily married to his golfer girlfriend turned-wife Danielle Peers (nee Montgomery).
As reported, the couple married on November 26, 2016, & took to Instagram to share the wedding picture.
In the picture, John and Danielle held hands together- the groom donned a black tuxedo while the bride looked fabulous in a white sheath gown.
He wrote, “Mr & Mrs. Peers,” followed by a heart emoji.
It is not known when the couple began dating but were in a relationship for many years before marrying.
Peers first shared pictures with her on his Instagram in July 2015. And by January 2016, there were reports that he and Danielle were engaged.
In fact, the Australian player made his move from Victoria to Perh, West Australia, to be with his fiancee.

Together, John and Danielle share two kids, both daughters: Ellie and Harper.
After six months of marriage, they welcomed their first child, daughter Ellie Rose & shared the news via Instagram in May 2017.

In May 2019, the couple took to Instagram & announced that they were expecting their second child.

They welcomed their second child, Harper Grace Peers, in August 2019.

Danielle Is A Former Golfer- More On Her Family Background
Before she married John, Danielle used to play golf on the Ladies European and Asian Tour. She was the 2009 feature of the Women of Professional Golf Calendar.
Her best finish was a tie for second place in the 2012 South African Women’s Open, where Caroline Masson took the trophy.
But after her marriage to Peers, she became a devoted wife and left golfing to give time to the family.
Born in 1985 in England, Danielle Montgomery is the eldest of three kids to her parents, Michael Montgomery Sr. and Karen Montgomery.
Her mother, Karen, is a licensed real estate & business agent and also the owner of Monty’s Realty (2010- present).
Danielle grew up with her younger sister Nicole Montgomery Martino (two years her junior) and brother Michael Jr (four years her junior).
Both her parents were golf lovers, so they used to take them to golf courses. As a result, Danielle & her siblings caught golf interest.
As of now, her brother Michael Jr. plays golf.
Her sister Nicole also played golf and now works as a golf manager at The Western Australian Golf Club (March 2021- present).
According to her LinkedIn, she is a 2017 graduate of Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management & had other previous managerial roles across Western Australia.
