The Belfast-born player is a three-time Premier League winner and one-time Champions League winner.

In addition, he won the FA Cup with Leicester City in 2021, defeating Chelsea 1-0 in the final.

Corry Evans also went through the Manchester United youth academy, following in the footsteps of his elder brother.

However, he didn’t make his senior-level debut for United and instead made his first appearance on January 14, 2011, while on loan at Hull City.

At the end of the 2010-11 season, he permanently joined Hull City and played for them for two seasons before transferring to Blackburn Rovers.

In his eight seasons with Blackburn Rovers, he played in 206 games and scored four goals.

He plays for Sunderland, having joined the club on July 15, 2021.

Moreover, the younger Evans sibling has made over 60 appearances for the Northern Ireland national team.

Regarding his personal life, he is married to Lisa Evans, and they have a daughter named Sienna Evans.

On July 4, 2023, he shared a picture of Sienna signing with Manchester United, where she will play at the U-11 level.

Jonny Evans Resigns With Man United On Short Term Deal

Manchester United have re-signed the experienced defender Jonny Evans on a short-term contract, allowing him to participate in the club’s pre-season tour.

The contract is only valid until the beginning of the new season, so he might only play in friendly matches before being released.

In a statement, United stated, “Experienced defender Jonny Evans has signed a short-term deal to enable him to take part in Manchester United’s upcoming pre-season games in Edinburgh and San Diego.”

During his initial eight-year stint with United from 2007-08 to 2014-15, Evans played in 198 matches for the club.

After leaving United in 2015, he joined West Bromwich Albion and moved to Leicester City in 2018.

Following Leicester City’s relegation to the EFL Championship, Evans became a free agent this summer.
