Jordan Hamilton: Professional NBA Career

The Dallas Mavericks picked Hamilton with the 26th overall choice in the 2011 NBA draft. On draft night, his draft rights were transferred to the Denver Nuggets.

Further, he signed with the Nuggets on December 9, 2011. Hamilton was traded to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Aaron Brooks on February 20, 2014.

He made his Rockets debut five days later, earning 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal in 24 minutes off the bench in a 129–103 win over the Sacramento Kings. 

Likewise, Jordan signed with the Toronto Raptors on August 18, 2014. However, on October 25, he was released by the Raptors. The Utah Jazz grabbed him off waivers two days later.

Similarly, the American player was purchased by the Iowa Energy of the NBA Development League on November 26, 2014.

He made his Iowa debut three days later, earning 11 points, three rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 18 minutes off the bench in a 102–97 defeat to the Grand Rapids Drive.

Playing Overseas

Jordan signed a contract with Krasny Oktyabr of Russia for the 2015–16 season on August 22, 2015. He parted company with the club on November 23. Similarly, he averaged 12.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in six Eurocup appearances.

Further, the player signed with the Bucaneros de La Guaira of the Liga Profesional de Baloncesto on April 27, 2016.

Two days later, he made his La Guaira debut in an 81–77 victory over the Marinos de Anzoátegui, with 10 points, five rebounds, 12 assists, and one steal in 38 minutes. 

Jordan also signed with Tofaş of the Turkish Basketball Super League on July 25, 2016. However, he departed Tofaş after only one game. Following that, Jordan joined Guaros de Lara of the Venezuelan League on October 23, 2016.

The player signed a contract with Turkish club Uşak Sportif on June 17, 2017.  He averaged 13.5 points, 2.3 assists, and 6.8 rebounds per game in 24 games with Uşak.

However, the player left Uşak on April 16, 2018, to join the Israeli team Hapoel Holon for the remainder of the season as a substitute for Glen Rice Jr. After that, he signed a one-year contract with Basket Brescia Leonessa on July 12, 2018.
