Former NFL star Shaquil Barrett and his wife, Jordanna Barrett, have received immense support and blessings from Jordanna’s parents.
Shaquil Barrett made headlines this week for a hilarious parenting moment at home. His wife, Jordanna, shared a chucklesome video on Instagram, where Shaquil was leaping out of his chair like a gymnast while changing his newborn daughter’s diaper, while dodging a sudden, messy “surprise.”
The clip quickly went viral as fans got a chance to witness a lighthearted and human side of the former NFL star.

Beyond his glorious NFL career, former linebacker Shaquil Barrett‘s personal life is equally successful. The secret to his beautiful home life is his wife, Jordanna Busch Barrett, with whom he has six children.
The couple met during high school in 2010 and have stuck together ever since. After going through Jordanna’s Facebook, we discovered that the couple had pictures together, even with her family, from September 2010.
Soon, on February 2, 2012, Shaquil and Jordanna had a court marriage and began their journey of building a new life together. During that period, Jordanna had to juggle three jobs, along with supporting her husband’s athletic ambitions.
Finally, in 2014, Shaquil’s NFL career took off as the Denver Broncos signed Barrett to a three-year, $1.53 million contract that included a signing bonus of $3,500.
After stabilizing their life and career, the couple remarried in 2016, and this time they exchanged vows and threw a grand wedding with scenic views and hundreds of guests.
As time passed by, Shaquil built a solid NFL career, while Jordanna ventured into social work and entrepreneurship. They welcomed four children: Shaquil Jr., Braylon, Aaliyah, and Allanah.
However, in 2023, the couple faced a big tragedy after losing their fifth child, Arrayah, who was just two years old, in an accidental drowning. It was an inconsolable loss to the Barrett family. Nonetheless, the couple announced that they are having their child, a daughter, in November 2024.
Besides being a loving wife and mother, Jordanna is also an independent woman. She is the founder of Fifty50 Foundation and Arrayah Hope Foundation.
While Jordanna is content with her married life, her parents are the backbone of her life. She was born on November 24, 1992, in Omaha, Nebraska, to parents Jeff and Angie Busch.
Her parents have shared many beautiful pictures of their time with Jordanna, her siblings, children, and Shaquil, flaunting how beautiful their family is.
According to Angie Busch’s LinkedIn, she has been the Executive Director of Missions at Christ For The City International Omaha since 2013. Moreover, she completed her education at Westmar University. She also volunteered and was a foster and special needs adoption trainer for 13 years.
Meanwhile, there is scarce information about Jeff Busch. But on a LinkedIn page, it is mentioned that he is the Executive Director at a company called Pinkerton Place. This detail was very vague and does not confirm anything about his profession.
However, in a 2023 Facebook post, Jeff shared that he, too, had previously worked at Christ For The City International Omaha, but had to quit after taking a medical leave.
Hence, it is obvious that Jordanna inherited her parents’ love for philanthropy and giving back to the community. Now, she, too, has her own non-profit, where she helps needy kids in the foster care system, alongside her husband.
