Jordan Gainey, born Jordan Dewaine Gainey on June 26, 2002, in Cary, North Carolina, is the proud son of Justin and Courtney Gainey.

After graduating from South Kent School in Kent, Connecticut, Jordan embarked on his collegiate basketball career at the University of South Carolina Upstate.

During his freshman and sophomore years, he showcased his skills on the court, starting in 58 of the 61 games he appeared in.

Averaging an impressive 14.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, he displayed his all-around capabilities while shooting an efficient 42.8 percent from the field.
