An American professional baseball pitcher, Michael Wacha parents Karen and Tom, gave birth to him as a second of four children in Iowa City.
Michael Wacha was born on July 1, 1991, and played college baseball for three years at Texas A&M University.
In 2012, St. Louis Cardinals selected Wacha in the first round of the 2012 MLB draft from Texas A&M University.
Later, he made his MLB debut on May 30, 2013, against Kansas City Royals with just one year in the minor leagues.
After performing well during the regular season, he became the Most Valuable Player of the 2013 National League Championship Series.
