The American sportscaster Katie George was born to parents Tim George and Annie George on December 3, 1993.

After graduating in 2015, Kate joined WDRB, a local station in Louisville, Kentucky, as a reporter.
Before joining the new ACC Network in 2019, George was the Milwaukee Bucks’ team sideline reporter for the 2018-19 NBA season at Bally Sports Wisconsin, previously known as Fox Sports Wisconsin.
In addition, she covered some college football games for ESPN and later joined ESPN full-time in 2021.
At ESPN, she hosts and moderates ESPN’s Unlapped video podcast that covers Formula 1 racing while covering Premier Lacrosse, XFL, and the NBA.

George was crowned Miss Kentucky USA in 2015. She had the incredible opportunity to compete at Miss USA 2015 in Louisiana on July 12.
She was a true standout, making it to the top fifteen and later winning the fan vote to advance into the top eleven.
While Olivia Jordan of Oklahoma ultimately took home the Miss USA 2015, George’s hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed.
The following year, George had the honor of crowning her successor, Kyle Hornback.
