He played high school football at Prosser High School and collegiate football at Boise State.

After going undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft, he signed with the Detroit Lions but did not get to make a debut in the NFL for the Lions.

The former quarterback then played three games for the Dallas Cowboys during the 2015 season.

After retiring as a player in 2018, Moore transitioned into coaching.

He served as the quarterbacks coach in 2018 and as the offensive coordinator from 2019 to 2022 for the Cowboys.

On January 30, 2023, the Los Angeles Chargers signed him as their new offensive coordinator.

In the tweet, many people couldn’t help but comment on how utterly adorable Kyle looked in his Lions’ woolen cap.

In addition to his son, Kellen and his wife also have two beautiful daughters, Halle and Madelyn Moore.

However, the details regarding his daughters are kept private and not disclosed to the public.

Wife: Julie Wilson

In May 2011, Moore proposed to Julie Wilson on his parents’ porch in Prosser, Washington.

Two months later, they had their outdoor wedding ceremony in Park City, Utah, officially becoming husband and wife in July 2011.

The extravagant wedding took place at the St. Regis Deer Valley resort in Park City.

Kellen Moore and his wife, Julie Wilson, both hail from Prosser, Idaho, and their story began during their time at Prosser High School.

A former three-sport athlete and valedictorian, Julie was a senior when Kellen, a sophomore, caught her attention. Their shared interest in sports kindled their romance.

Julie then graduated from Brigham Young University and worked as an accountant.

In an interview, Kellen said that they are pretty competitive, particularly regarding what he calls “cheesy board games.”

They frequently enjoy playing these games with a competitive spirit, even though Kellen often finds himself on the losing side.

Years later, as Kellen and Julie enjoyed a serene Hawaiian beach, they received a life-changing call from Jason Garrett, then the Cowboys’ head coach.

This offer came just weeks after Kellen had retired from playing football. Jason wanted to know if Kellen was interested in joining the coaching staff.
