Known As “King Mylik”, Professional Boxer Mylik Birdsong Sadly Passed Away At 31 Succumbing To Fatal Gunshot Injuries

Mylik Birdsong emerged as a star in the world of the professional boxing league. His unfortunate and untimely demise has not only devastated his family and close ones but has also disheartened his fans and colleagues.

Mylik Birdsong’s passed away in a brutal drive-by shooting in Los Angeles.

Born in 1993, Mylik Roashun Birdsong was a LA based professional boxer. He gained recognition in the welterweight division and accumulated a record of 15 wins.

He started his professional boxing career in 2017 and quickly built a solid fanbase due to his immaculate ring prowess.

A Dreadful Open Fire Incident Took The Life Of The Rising Star

This harrowing incident took place on September 29, 2024. Mylik Birdsong was only 31 years old at the time of his tragic demise.

His mother claimed that her son came home to join the family for dinner. But unbeknownst to the Birdsong family, that happy day would be forever engraved as a tragedy in their hearts.

As per many sources, Birdsong was standing near a car, speaking with his girlfriend who was inside the vehicle.

Around 5 P.M, while the couple was conversing with one another, a dark-colored SUV pulled up near Birdsong. Then, two suspects exited the vehicle and began opening fire on Birdsong.

Despite the injuries, the rising star still had hopes in himself and attempted to escape from the scene. However, the suspect chased him down and stroked him seven times in the torso.

The 31-year-old collapsed in a driveway and was immediately transported to a hospital. Unfortunately, Birdsong succumbed to his injuries and took his last breath on September 29.

His mother, Zonyia, witnessed the entire incident unfold right before her eyes. The inconsolable incident destroyed the entire family, which had never imagined something like this could happen to Mylik.

“They murdered my child in front of me. “Who does that?”

The LAPD is investigating the case and is actively searching for the suspect. The family has cleared the suspicion about Mylik’s association with any gang and claims he never had bad blood with anyone.

As of now, the purpose of the brutal assassination remains a mystery.

Mylik Birdsong was an aspiring boxer who was gradually making his name in professional boxing.

Despite his brief career, Birdsong impressed everyone with his sheer talent and hard work. He had a loyal fanbase who were looking forward to witnessing the rising star’s future success.

Besides his passion for boxing, Birdsong was always eager to help the less fortunate.

“He would pass out food and ask homeless people, the less fortunate what size do you wear? Are you hungry? And then he would sit with them and talk with them and ask them what happened.”
