Late Kultida Woods, the mother of golfing legend Tiger Woods, lived a one-of-a-kind life with an estimated net worth of $800,000 at the time of her demise.

Widely known as “Tida,” Kultida Woods took her last breath on February 4, 2025, less than 12 hours after she was honored ahead of play in the TFL event.

Professional golfer Tiger Woods took to his social media to confirm the heartbreaking news; however, he didn’t reveal the cause of her demise.

In the lengthy, heartfelt eulogy, Woods praised Kultida for her support and love in his life through thick and thin.

It is with heartfelt sadness that I want to share that my dear mother, Kultida Woods, passed away early this morning,” Woods started the eulogy. He continued:

My Mom was a force of nature all her own, her spirit was simply undeniable. She was quick with the needle and a laugh. She was my biggest fan, greatest supporter, without her none of my personal achievements would have been possible.

She was undoubtedly the light of her son Wood’s life, who described her as a “force of nature.

Kultida was loved by many, especially her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie,” Tiger Woods added in the heartfelt caption.

Kultida Woods Worked as a Civilian Secretary in Bangkok Before Moving to the U.S!

Tiger Woods’ mother Kultida Woods, born in 1944 in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, worked as a civilian secretary for the U.S. Army base in Bangkok during the Vietnam War.

It was there where she met her future husband, Earl Woods, a Green Beret serving in the 6th Special Forces Group.

Over time, Earl Woods and Kultida’s relationship blossomed into a meaningful connection, and eventually, the couple married in 1969.

After moving to the United States, Kultida focused on raising her family and supporting Tiger Woods in his early golfing career.

They first lived in Brooklyn, New York, before settling in Cypress, California. She was known for her strong-willed personality, who would do anything to support her son.

While Kultida didn’t pursue a high-profile career, she significantly influenced Tiger’s life.

In her later years, Kultida also participated in philanthropic events with The Tiger Woods Foundation. Through her initiatives in the foundation, which her son owns, Kultida has been able to assist the least fortunate.

One of them is financially assisting students in her home country of Thailand to attend school. She has also made several appearances on various shows.

Kultida and Earl remained happily married for almost four decades, 37 years to be precise, until Earl passed away at the age of 74 in 2006.

As the widow of Earl Woods, she most likely inherited a portion of his estate following his death in 2006. However, specific details about Earl Woods’ estate distribution after his death have not been publicly revealed.

Thanks to Tiger Woods’ gigantic net worth and strong financial standing, she lived a sound and sophisticated life in her later years.

While Kultida’s net worth might seem modest compared to her son’s estimated $800 million fortune, it speaks volumes about her humble nature, who dedicated her life to her family.
