The former MLB player has been out of the limelight for quite a while. The last time we heard about him was in 2020, when he moved to New Zealand to play for Auckland Tuatara.
A talented player in his youth, Kyle made his MLB debut in 2005 with Atlanta Braves. He played for two seasons, with injuries getting the best of him.
Davies then moved to Kansas City Royals, where he played for four seasons, before moving to the New York Yankees.
At the Yankees, he did get to play alongside Alex Rodriguez, even if it was only one game. After that season in 2015, Kyle moved to Japan and played for Tokyo Yakult Swallows.
In May, the pitcher was seen signing autographs for fans alongside Pete Smith on Alumni Sunday for the Atlanta Braves.

In an interview with My Central Jersey, the former MLB player talked about his return and that he was still recharging himself after a long hiatus from the game.
During the interview, Kyle mentioned that he was always going to return, but the birth of his third child pushed his schedule back. The pitcher further said it wouldn’t be nice of him to leave his wife at home with the birth of a new kid.
The veteran player played for three MLB franchises before moving to Japan. During a short interview, the pitcher said he moved to Japan with his family, including his wife, and said it was a great experience to learn a new culture.
In 2020, there was news that Kyle had joined the New Zealand-based baseball team Auckland Tuatara. But since then, the pitcher hasn’t given any details about his career or his family.
Kyle Davies Brother Jake Davies Is A Former Collegiate Player
Kyle Davies’ has a younger brother named Jake Davies, who was previously a collegiate baseball player.
After graduating from Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy, Jake played collegiate baseball at Georgia Tech. Born on September 15, 1989, Jake is six years younger than his brother.
Jake played four years of college ball at Georgia Tech, starring in 152 games, scoring 20 home runs. He signed with the Boston Red Sox but never made it big time.
He later played in Gulf Coast League for Gulf Coast Red Sox for 20 games before joining Lowell Spinners.
Lowell Spinner is a team based in New York Penn League for whom Jake played 34 games in 2012. He later returned to Gulf Coast Red Sox in 2013 and played 43 games before hanging up his cleats.
But while playing baseball, Jake also worked for his father’s construction company Davies General Contracting. He joined the company as a vice president and took the project manager’s role.
As per the website of Davies General Contracting, Jake is now the president and CEO at Davies General Contracting.
Jake is available on Facebook and has previously shared a few pictures with his family. He tied the knot with Emily Davies in 2018, and the couple share two kids.
