Kyle Snyder, the American freestyle wrestler who made history as the youngest to win the world, NCAA, and Olympic championships in the same year, is now making headlines due to his recent arrest.
According to reports, the Olympic gold medalist, Kyle Snyder, was recently arrested as part of a prostitution sting in Columbus.
Moreover, he was one of 16 men charged during an undercover operation on Columbus’ North Side on Friday, May 9.
The operation involved Columbus police posting ads for escort services on the internet, to which Snyder responded by texting and agreeing to meet at a nearby hotel.
According to police reports, Snyder paid an undercover officer cash and asked for oral sex. He was arrested for engaging in prostitution.

The World Champion wrestler Kyle Snyder inherited his athletic genes from his parents, Steve and Tricia Snyder, who guided their son to become one of the most renowned wrestlers in the world.
Although Steve and Tricia didn’t wrestle or pursue their career as athletes, they showcased their amazing sports skills in high school and college.
Moreover, Kyle Snyder’s parents, Stephen ‘Steve’ and Tricia Snyder, are both former college athletes.
His father, Steve, excelled in football during his high school and collegiate athletic career, while his mother, Tricia, is a former high school and college cheerleader.
Tricia showcased her cheerleading skills as a member of Towson University’s cheerleading team, the Tigers.

“He was athletic at an early age; he would wrestle with me, he would wrestle with his mom, and other kids. We saw the advertisement and thought that might be a place for him to do that without destroying the house. So we signed him up to see what would happen. Here we are.”

His father, Steve Snyder, who previously coached the Army West Point baseball team, now serves as the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations Baltimore special agent.
Whereas, his mother, Tricia Snyder, earning her B.S. in major english and secondary education from Towson University, has been working as a federal marketing director of Proforma Federal for over 16 years.
Similarly, Steve and Tricia instilled their athletic genes in Kyle and his siblings: two brothers, Stephen Jr. and Kevin, and a sister, Megan.
His elder brother, Stephen Jr., a West Point graduate, showcased his amazing wrestling skills while playing for the Army West Point wrestling team, the Black Knights.
Stephen also won state titles wrestling for Good Counsel High School, was named the school’s Athlete of the Year as a senior, and was a member of the National Honor Society.
Similarly, his younger brother Kevin Snyder followed in his footsteps in wrestling and wrestled for the Ohio State, winning several honorable titles.
