Born on November 21, 1959, Kyle Whittingham is a former professional player turned coach and currently serves as the head football coach at the University of Utah.

The BYU alumnus played for the Denver Gold and New Orleans Breakers of the USFL, as well as the Los Angeles Rams in 1987.

He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at BYU for two seasons before becoming the defensive coordinator at Eastern Utah.

Afterward, he worked five seasons with Idaho State before joining Utah in 1994.

Furthermore, the California-born coach has been the head coach of the Utes since the 2005 season.

After graduation, he worked as a VP of digital marketing at Plan B Social from July 2012 to August 2013.

Later, he worked as a Google AdWords Expert at Titan Consulting Group (August 2013 – February 2014) and co-founded adMind.io (March 2014- April 2019).

Presently, he is the founder of G Ads, a venture that he initiated in June 2019.

Talking about his personal life, Tyler tied the knot with Shauntel Smith Whittingham, and they share three kids: two sons and a daughter.

Kyle Alexander Whittingham, known as Kyle Whittingham (born: March 16, 1992), attended Brighton High School and played collegiate football in Utah like his brother and father.

After playing at Utah, he began his coaching career professionally in 2018 as a defensive assistant for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Currently, he serves as the defensive quality control coach for the Chiefs. Furthermore, he is the two-time Super Bowl Champion, having won the title with the Chiefs in 2020 and 2023.

Regarding his personal life, he exchanged wedding vows with Gabi Hart Whittingham, and they have an adorable daughter.

Gabi Hart Whittingham graduated from San Diego University and presently works as a credentialing specialist at Fusion HealthCare Staffing.

Daughter: Melissa & Kylie

Like his brothers, Kylie Whittingham studied at Brighton High School and the University of Utah.

She is married to Tanner Hal Johnson, and they have a daughter.

On the other hand, Melissa Whittingham and his husband, Dawson Kent, have four children.
