Lanto Griffin, who plays for the PGA tour, was born on June 15, 1988, in Mount Shasta, California.

He played golf at College Virginia Commonwealth University and earned the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year title.

Following his college career, he started his professional golf journey in 2010.

Griffin completed his PGA Tour Latinoamerica and achieved notable victories, including the Roberto De Vicenzo Punta del Este Open Copa NEC and the Virginia Open.
