After a hard long battle, Leicester City have won their first FA Cup title.

Brendan Rogers’s side have managed to beat Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea 1-0 to be crowned the new “Kings of England”.

CONGRATULATIONS TO LEICESTER CITY FOOTBALL CLUB FOR CREATING HISTORY.

Leicester City Win For The First Time

For the first time in the club’s history, they have finally won the FA Cup competition.

After being so close yet so far over the past couple of years, they have finally created history.

Leicester only had 6 shots in total and 1 on target. The shot on target was the goal scored by Tielemans.

Chelsea dominated most of the first half but weren’t able to maximise their chances.

Brendan Rogers has proved why his side should be fighting for European competitions.

The Foxes, despite being down on possession and on shots showed brilliant resilience for winning the game.

Soyuncu, who recently joined Leicester proved to be vital in the defence as no Chelsea player was able to get pass him.

Leicester’s star defender Johny Evans was not 100% match fit but was given the nod to start the game by Brendan.

However, after 30 minutes, the defender fell down and wasn’t able to continue the game because his heel gave up.

Marc Albrighton came on inplace of Evans and Castagne moved back into the back three.

The front 4 of Albrighton, Ndidi, Tielemans and Thomas outclassed the defense and attack of Chelsea.

Youri Tielemans was crowned as the “Man of the Match” and it was rightfully the correct decision.

The way he played right from the start showed his determination and hunger to win the competition.

After 137 years, Leicester City are now the FA Cup Champions.

Jamie Vardy Creates History

Jamie Vardy played in the preliminary rounds of the FA Cup 14 years ago. He now has played in the final of the competition.

He becomes the first player in history to play in every stage of the FA Cup

180m Better than 200m

Leicester City has spent less than 200m over the past two-three years while Chelsea spent more than 200m this season.

Despite having more talented players Chelsea weren’t able to break past the defense and were left helpless.

Leicester sold both Chilwell and Kante to Chelsea and brought the likes of Tielemans and Ndidi as well as Harvey Barnes.

Chelsea brought Ziyech, Werner, Havertz and none of these players were able to prove their talent in this game.

This actually shows that no matter how much you spend, if you have the right manager and the right players, you can win anything.

Tuchel So Close yet So Far

Thomas Tuchel took over Chelsea mid-way through the season after club legend Frank Lampard was sacked.

The side has looked dominant over the course of 4 months. He has won 17 games, lost just 4 (including this final) and drawn 6.

No one had their thoughts about Chelsea being such dominant towards the second half of the season.

But, Tuchel proved everyone wrong.

He and his side are currently fighting for the top 4 of the Premier League and are in the final of the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2012.

Playing in the toughest league for the first time, with new players and team will always be hard for any manager.

However, Tuchel took charge and showed his tactical geniusness right from the beginning.

This is his first final appearance in the color of Chelsea Blue. Even though he lost, there is still hope for him to win his first cup under the banner of Chelsea.\

What’s Next For The Club?

Now that Leicester are the champions, they can focus solely on the remaining 2 games in the Premier League.

Even if they don’t secure top four, they will take part in the Europa League next season.

This Brendan Rogers’ side will face Chelsea after four days in the Premier League. This game will prove vital to who remains in the race for the top four.
