The British professional boxer, Liam Smith, has talked about having a sister named Hollie, who has a medical condition.

Liam Smith is an English professional boxer who held several light-middleweight championships, including the British and Commonwealth titles, from 2012 to 2015.

He was also the WBO light-middleweight title holder from 2015 to 2016.

Smith hails from a family of professional boxers. His two older brothers, Paul Smith and Stephen Smith, and a younger brother, Callum Smith, are all professional boxers. 

Smith started boxing during his teenage years at Rotunda ABC. He fought for Rotunda ABC in Liverpool.

In 2008, Smith made his professional debut at light-middleweight against Duncan Cottier at the Everton Park Sports Centre.

Smith has a record of 33-3-1, where 22 wins came by KO. On January 21, 2023, the professional boxer fought against Chris Eubank Jr, former WBA interim middleweight champion, and defeated him via TKO in round four.

Liam Smith has two younger sisters, Chloe and Hollie. Chloe was born in 1994, and Hollie was born in 2000.

The professional boxer is 35, so the age gap between him and Hollie is around 11.

Liam Smith was born July 27, 1988, in Liverpool, United Kingdom, to Paul Smith Sr. and Margaret Smith. 

He was raised along with his other five siblings. His parents always encouraged him to follow his passion and thoroughly supported him.

Liam’s older brother, Paul Smith, is a former professional boxer. Paul competed in boxing from 2003 to 2017.

In 2008, Paul was the English middleweight champion. He won the British Super-weight world title two times between 2009 and 2014.

He also won a silver medal in the light middleweight division at the 2002 Common Wealth Games.

Besides boxing, Paul also has an interest in music. He works as a DJ at the ‘Society’ nightclub in Liverpool.

He wrote ‘Better Than Life’ with Mike Di Scala and remixed the song ‘Falling Stars (Waiting For A Star To Fall)’ by Sunset Strippers.

Liam’s brother, Stephen Smith, is also a professional boxer and competed between 2008 to 2019.

Stephen amassed several titles, including the British and Commonwealth featherweight and the British super-featherweight at the regional level.

In 2016, he faced two major losses; one against Jose Pedraza for the IBF world title and another against Francisco Vargas via technical decision after an accidental headbutt.

Liam’s younger brother, Callum, is also a professional boxer and held the WBA (Super) and Ring magazine super-middleweight titles from 2018 to 2020. 

The youngest Smith held the British and European super-middleweight titles between 2015 and 2017 at the regional level.

In 2018, he won the World Boxing Super Series and the Muhammad Ali trophy.
