Giants pitcher Logan Webb was born to parents Christie and Erik Webb on November 18, 1996. He grew up with a brother named Chase.

Additionally, Logan’s parents once mentioned that he dreamed of playing in the big league when he was just two.

They never discouraged him from pursuing his dream but motivated and supported him.

Logan’s father, Erik, was a devoted fan of the A’s and Raiders while growing up in Belmont.

He had a hunch that his son, who had a strong passion for football, might stand out even during his early T-ball days at the age of 5.

To participate in the league with 6-year-olds, they had to travel to Roseville, the neighboring town.

Erik stated, “He had the strongest arm on the team, and he got a grounder at shortstop, he picked it up, and he looked, and he saw the poor kid who was playing first base — and Logan didn’t want to throw it because he knew the kid wouldn’t be able to catch it.”

He added, “So Logan ran from shortstop to first base and got the kid out.”

Additionally, Christie also played a vital role in the upbringing of the MLB player.
