Jimmy Wilder Castillo, a 22-year-old former Magruder High School soccer player, passed away on October 24, 2025, after a tragic accident.

Castillo suffered a tragic accident on October 2, 2025, while attending a car event in Tennessee with friends.

He fell from a truck, hit his head on the pavement, and lost consciousness.

Then, he was airlifted to the hospital, where doctors worked to reduce brain swelling and stabilize him with medication and sedatives.

Jimmy underwent two major surgeries: one to relieve pressure on his brain by removing part of his skull, and another to support long-term recovery through a tracheostomy and gastrostomy.

Sadly, he suffered a second stroke on October 20, and doctors declared him neurologically dead.

Faced with an irreversible condition, his family made the heartbreaking decision to let him go peacefully on October 24, 2025.

Family And Community Members Are Mourning The Loss Of Jimmy Wilder Castillo

Jimmy graduated from Magruder High School in 2022, where he played soccer all four years.

He was studying Computer Science at Montgomery College while working as a porter at a car dealership.

Outside of work and school, he enjoyed going to the movies, staying active at the gym, and learning about day trading.
