His college career-high 40 points came in his senior year on November 13, 2016, when they won over Northern Kentucky.

Then in December 2021, the small forward signed a 10-day contract with Atlanta Hawks.

In September 2022, Hill signed a new two-way contract with the Bulls but was waived on February 21, 2023, to clear space for the new signee Terry Taylor.

On February 24, 2023, the NBA G League team Birmingham Squadron re-acquired him into their roster.

United States National Basketball Team

Malcolm Hill was among the 22 players invited to the 2015 U.S. Pan American Men’s Basketball team training camp in June 2015.

The training camp was held at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The competition was scheduled for July 21-25 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
