This professional wise receiver was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, to Marvin Green Harrison (father) and Linda Harrison (mother). Likewise, Harrison holds American citizenship, while his ethnicity is black.

After graduating from Syracuse University, Marvin decided to try for NFL. As we all know, joining NFL is a dream of all the football players, and Marvin was no exception.

Fortunately, Marvin gets drafted by Indianapolis Colts in the 1996 NFL draft in the 19th round. Likewise, from that NFL batch, Marvin was considered one of the most productive and outstanding players.

In a brief period, Marvin successfully earned some name, especially after he broke the single-season record of Herman Moore by 20 receptions in 2002.

Soon after that, in 2006, Harrison became the fourth player in the history of the NFL to record 1000 receptions.

In 2007, Marvis couldn’t play that season due to his knee injury, and this was the second injury of Harrison since 1998, where he couldn’t play a whole season.

Meanwhile, in 2008, Harrison requested Colts to release him, and he got fired from Colts.

After being released from Colts, Harrison announced his retirement from NFL in 2009.
