Matt Cain, former pitcher for the San Francisco Giants, has retired after 13 seasons. He was key to the team’s World Series wins in 2010 and 2014.

Cain threw the only perfect game in Giants franchise history in 2012. He had a successful career and made a dynamic duo with Tim Lincecum.

Moreover, Matt has shared the University of Memphis alma mater with Derrick Rose, the point guard for the Knicks.

Matt’s luck in the 2023 Hall of Fame ballot was unlucky. It was a little disappointing to see that he didn’t receive a single vote.
