Matt Graham stepped into this world on 23 October 1994 in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia, under the star sign of Scorpio. Although not much detail is known about his family background, Matt is known to have a brother named David Graham.

With The Moguls
Matt Graham entered the Perisher Winter Sports Club mogul program at six. During his initial phase, Matt first attended every class the resort offered. Hence, he did everything as slopestyle (obstacle course racing), alpine racing, and mogul jumping.
A year later, Matt excelled in the Moguls and entered the Australian Olympic development team when he was twelve. He stood for the New South Wales Institute of Sport (NSWIS) team back then.
By the age of fifteen, he played on the Olympic team (Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWIA)). He also sailed 8’, single-sail Sabot sailboats with his brother during his tenure.
Matt became four times Australian, six times state champions, and won two state titles with his brother’s Sabot sailboats.
The national sporting organization for sailing, Yachting Australia, approached them to offer them a deal back then. However, he chose Moghuls over the Sabots.
Following Career
Matt Graham initially made his international stage debut as a 15-year-old. Well, he garnered his place at the final World Cup qualification event, standing 27th prior to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
Following that, he had his first World Championships in Voss, Norway, in 2013, where he earned fourth place. Matt then stood seventh at the Sochi Olympic test World Cup event the same year.
A year later, he then partook in the Sochi Olympics. Back then, he stood seventh in the finals of the Men’s Moguls. Moving on, his next appearance bagged him silver at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games held in Pyeongchang.
Later, he then joined the 2019 World Championship held in Utah, where he again added another silver medal to the line. As for his recent game, Matt was featured in the 2021 World Championships held in Almaty, his yet another silver medal win.

Matt Graham was first diagnosed with a stress fracture in his lumbar spine at L5 during his career journey. Well, this was his severe injury, and he was sidelined from the games for eight months.
Well, during the first three months, he was completely inactive in the game to let his fracture heal. He neither had any minor nor major activities like running, swimming, walking, or even more during that time.
About five years later, in 2015, Matt had a leisure-time accident during an Australia team training camp in Park City, Utah. This incident occurred while playing volleyball with his teammates.
Well, the ball went over a chest-high wooden fence, and while retrieving it, Matt fell over the fence. He collapsed on the right elbow and snapped his radial head off his ulna. Then, he had surgery after an X-ray.
Recently in December 2021, Matt had a little bingle on Saturday’s training session before the finals in Idre Fjall and broke his collar bone. Currently, he is waiting to get surgery in Switzerland.
