Mike Thomas’s Suspension in the 2017 Game
On July 14, 2017, the NFL announced that Mike was suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season.
The then-Rams wide receiver violated the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs and was not eligible to rejoin the team until after they played the Cowboys on October 1, 2017.
However, he could practice with the team at training camp and play in preseason games before the suspension went into effect.
Mike was a sixth-round pick in 2016. He had three catches for 37 yards in 15 games during his rookie season.
Similarly, Thomas couldn’t play the game against the Lions due to an injury. He wasn’t active enough even though he logged a full practice. As a result, he missed a second straight contest.

Similarly, he had his only target for 19 yards in a 24-10 win over the Steelers. Mike only played on ten offensive snaps in the contest resulting in a 21 percent share.
He was not a big part of the Bengal’s game plan, even with wideout Tee Higgins sidelined with a shoulder injury. Over three weeks, he caught 24 yards on just two catches.
