NFL star Justin Jefferson and his two brothers, Jordan and Rickey Jefferson, played for the LSU Tigers. The Jefferson brothers grew up in a tight-knit family with their parents, John and Elaine Jefferson, supporting their football dreams from a young age.

Sports is in the blood of the Jefferson family. Justin’s parents, John and Elaine, are former collegiate and high school athletes.

John played basketball for Nebraska, Western, and Northeast Louisiana, and his wife, Elaine, played the same sport at high school.

Justin Jefferson, 25, attended the same high school as his brothers, Jordan and Rickey, Destrehan High School.

At Destrehon, Justin was rated a three-star prospect. In his senior season, Justin recorded 44 receptions for 956 yards and scored nine touchdowns.

Continuing to follow his brothers, Justin enrolled at LSU but didn’t do much during his freshman season. It all changed in his sophomore year.

Jefferson became the LSU’s top receiver, recording 54 receptions for 875 yards and scoring six touchdowns.

A year later, he played and started 15 games and finished the season with a school-record 111 receptions for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns.

After a strong junior season, Jefferson announced he was entering the 2020 NFL Draft forgoing his remaining college availability.

Since making his debut for the Vikings, Jefferson has achieved numerous individual accolades, including becoming NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2022.

He has made it to the Pro Bowl team four times and First-team All-Pro once in 2022.

The Vikings are already through to the playoffs but can lock down the top seed if they defeat the Detroit Lions.

Justin Jefferson’s Brother, Jordan Jefferson Is A Football Coach & Athletic Director

The oldest of three brothers, Jordan Jefferson, 34, played four years as a quarterback for the LSU Tigers.

Jordan became a permanent starting quarterback for LSU in his sophomore year in 2009.

He became the second-youngest quarterback for the Tigers to start a season opener at 19 years and 12 days old.

In 12 games, Jordan completed 182 of 296 passes for 2,166 yards with 17 touchdowns.

Jordan led LSU to an 11-2 record and a victory over Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl in his junior year.

He recorded 118 of 209 passes for 1,411 yards and seven touchdowns. Jordan also had 450 rushing yards, the most by a quarterback in school history.

After finishing his senior season with a 60-of-100 passing for 737 yards, six touchdowns, and two interceptions, Jordan entered the 2012 NFL Draft.

He went undrafted but was later signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Jordan failed to make the starting roster and went on to sign with the Montreal Alouettes, the CFL team.

Jordan decided to hang up his cleats in 2014 and focus on his coaching year. In 2019, he accepted the role of Offensive Graduate Assistant at Colorado State.

Previously, Jordan appeared for an interview with his younger brother on the Vikings’ Audible Series.

In the video, Jordan recalled talking about his baby brother with his teammate, Patrick Queen, who went on to play for the Bengals in the NFL.

When asked about a funny childhood memory with his brother, Jordan said he remembers Justin playing the NCAA Football video game while listening to Kanye West’s album 808s & Heartbreak.

Jordan said he would join his brother, and the two would sing and play the game till early morning.

He is available on Instagram and is seen accompanying his baby brother to various events.

He is also the Co-Founder and Athletic Director of NOLA HOTBOY$, a 7v7 program started by his brother, Justin.

The Middle Child of The Jefferson Family, Rickey Jefferson, Remains Out of The Limelight

Rickey Jefferson, 30, also started his footballing career at Destrehan High School.

At Destrehan, Rickey played as a wide receiver and caught 36 passes for 562 yards and five touchdowns in his senior season.

He enrolled at LSU and started only one game as a freshman. He ended his season with six tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, and a pair of pass breakups.

In his sophomore year, Rickey starred in the secondary team and tied for the team lead with two interceptions.

He made nine starts as a safety in his junior season and played 13 games. He recorded 36 tackles, three pass breakups, one sack, and one interception.

In his final year as a Tiger, Rickey made 65 tackles, seven pass breakups, and three interceptions.

After going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, Rickey signed as a free agent with the Las Vegas Raiders and later with the New Orleans Saints. But injuries riddled his footballing career.

In an interview with SEC Network, Rickey said Justin would tell his two older brothers he would be the best football player among them.

Rickey revealed that he would go hard on Justin, but Jordan would always try to protect him.

Growing up, Jordan and Justin’s relationship was like that of best friends.

Rickey said when they were kids, he and Justin were competitive and got into arguments, but their relationship improved as they got older.

He is available on Instagram but has cleared his entire feed.
