Justin Fields’ sister, Jessica Fields, committed to coach Kim Barnes-Arico and Michigan in 2024.

Contracts for the deal agreed between the New York Jets and quarterback Justin Fields, 26, have been officially revealed.

On the opening day of the 2025 NFL free agency frenzy on Monday, the Jets signed their presumed next starting quarterback under center.

Upon first being reported, it was said that Justin inked a two-year deal in New York. But NFL contracts are seldom that simple.

With the green and white, Fields inked a contract worth $40 million over those two seasons. Of that, $30 million is guaranteed.

The Jets and general manager Darren Mougey have backed off Fields’ contract a bit.

ESPN reports that Fields will have base salaries of $5 million and $20 million in his deal, respectively. The other $15 million comes through a signing bonus.

The genuine interest comes via the salary cap hits. Those are spread out over the next two years at figures of $5 million and $23 million.

That is interesting because the Jets will also have a $35 million dead-cap hit from former quarterback Aaron Rodgers next year.

The Athletics reports that Fields’ contract has “void years” attached to it, which essentially spreads out the cap hits. Reportedly, the cap hit in 2027, when Fields’ deal is already expired, would be $9 million.

Justin Fields’ Sister, Jaiden Fields, Is a Graduate Student-Athlete For the University Of Georgia Softball Team

Justin Fields’ sister, Jaiden Fields, 24, born on September 22, 2000, was a four-year varsity standout at Harrison High School, where she led her softball team to a class 6A state championship in 2018.

Her school career was highlighted by a .548 batting average, 15 home runs, and 42 RBIs as a senior, earning her the title of Georgia’s 2018 Class 6A Player of the Year.

She enrolled early at Georgia in January 2019 and redshirted her first season. In 2021, as a redshirt sophomore, she earned NFCA All-Southeast Region Third team honors after batting .315 with seven home runs and 22 RBIs.

In 2023, Fields started 55 games and was one of Georgia’s most productive hitters, earning Second Team All-SEC and Third Team NFCA All-Southeast Region honors.

She posted a .295 average with 8 eight home runs, 31 RBIs, and a .506 slugging percentage.

Jaiden graduated in May 2023 with a degree in Journalism and Sports Media from the University of Georgia.

As per her LinkedIn profile, she served as the research assistant at 25 Hits from October 2023 to May 2024.

Since February 2025, she has been serving as the associated social media manager at Overtime in Brooklyn, New York.

Justin Fields’ Other Sister, Jessica Fields, Announced Her Commitment To Michigan Women’s Basketball

Justin Fields’s second sister, Jessica Fields, is a multi-sport standout at Mount Paran Christian School in Kennesaw, Georgia, where she played basketball and volleyball.

Standing 6-foot-2, she plays forward (#21) on the basketball court and serves as a middle blocker and opposite hitter (#8) on the volleyball team.

During the 2023-2024 season, she played in 52 sets and recorded 55 kills, achieving an impressive .309 hitting percentage.

On the basketball court, Jessica helped Mount Paran Christian to a strong postseason, including a win over Josey in the state tournament on March 7, 2024.

In August 2024, Fields made headlines when she signed her National Letter of Intent to play college basketball for the University of Michigan.

She announced her commitment to Michigan women’s basketball on Twitter by stating,

“I was ready to wrap up my recruitment process,” “I started very early in eighth grade, so it’s been a very long process. I got to see both of my siblings go through it, so I always looked forward to when coaches would finally focus on me in visits instead of being the little sibling running around.”

Fields entered her senior season at Mount Paran Christian School in Kennesaw, Georgia. She joined 4-star guard McKenzie Mathurin in the 2025 recruiting class for the Wolverines.

In addition to her on-court achievements, Jessica has been featured in national coverage recognizing athletes from prominent sports families, placing her alongside the daughters of legends like Patrick Ewing and Tracy McGrady.
