Both of his elder sisters, Melissa and Samantha, ran track and field at the University of Texas and the University of Miami, respectively.

The Gonzalez sisters have both competed for the Colombian national track and field team.

Furthermore, his sister, Melissa, is married to the Arizona Cardinals quarterback David Blough.

College Career

Christian initially committed to play college football at Purdue University but later joined the University of Colorado.

He played for 18 games for the Colorado Buffaloes and made 65 solo tackles and 13 assisted tackles.

The cornerback then joined the University of Oregon, where he started 12 games, making 35 tackles and 15 assisted tackles.

After that season, he declared for the 2023 NFL draft forgoing his remaining two years of college eligibility.
