In Southern New Jersey, a controversy has erupted after a high school assistant volleyball coach and music teacher was asked to resign following comments made to students about conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
The educator, identified as Ms. Madeline Meyers, served as both the Southern Regional Volleyball Assistant Coach and a music teacher at Stafford Township schools.
As per multiple local community posts and social media discussions, Meyers allegedly told students that Charlie Kirk “deserved to die.”
The incident quickly spread across local forums, drawing heated reactions from parents, residents, and political commentators alike.
A post in the “Stafford NJ Residents” group suggested Meyers was “basically told to resign to avoid termination” due to the seriousness of her remarks.
The claim was echoed by the advocacy page “Wake Up NJ,” which criticized the teacher’s alleged conduct, questioning how educators could justify making such inflammatory statements in front of children.
Parents and residents expressed outrage, emphasizing that while teachers are entitled to personal opinions, those views should never be projected onto students.

Critics of Meyers labeled her actions as reflective of “radical left hatred,” while others argued that educators pushing political ideologies of any kind onto students is inappropriate.

Some demanded that Meyers lose her teaching license entirely, with one parent writing,
