Ole Miss Softball Star Ashton Lansdell’s Parents Scott And Dana Are Former College Athletes

Ashton Lansdell, a former baseball star and current member of the Ole Miss Softball team, the Rebels, inherited her athletic genes from her parents.

The 2019 COPABE Women’s Pan-American Games Gold Medalist, Ashton Lansdell, was born in February 2001 in Charlotte, North Carolina, to father Scott Lansdell and mother Dana Staltare.

Ashton Lansdell grew up in Marietta, Georgia, playing sports with her parents and siblings.

Furthermore, both of Ashton Lansdell’s parents, Scott and Dana, are former college and high school athletes.

Her father, Scott Lansdell, was a baseball star who played as a catcher on the University of North Texas’s men’s baseball team.

A native of Plano, Texas, Ashton’s father, Scott Lansdell, also showcased his outstanding baseball skills playing for Plano East Senior High School’s boys baseball team.

Likewise, it was Scott Lansdell who instilled in his daughter, Ashton Lansdell, a love and passion for baseball, making her an outstanding high school and college baseball star.

Scott was Ashton’s first coach and began guiding her in her baseball journey when she was just four years old, playing in the backyard.

Following in her father’s footsteps in baseball, Ashton Lansdell won several honorable titles, including the 2006 Women’s Baseball World Cup gold medal, the 2012 Georgia State Championship, and many more.

Like her father, Ashton’s mother, Dana Staltare, also significantly influenced her sports journey and has always stood by her side as a constant supporter.

Dana Staltare is a former high school and college volleyball star.

A native of Sebastian, Florida, Ashton’s mother, Dana, played volleyball for Vero Beach High School’s women’s volleyball team and later continued her sports journey at Flagler College.

Although her parents didn’t pursue careers in sports and chose different paths, they played a significant role in guiding Ashton Lansdell in her sports career.

Similarly, despite their separation, Scott and Dana mutually raised Ashton and her siblings to succeed in thier respective fields.

While very little information about her father, Scott, is available, her mother, Dana’s LinkedIn profile displays that she is thriving in her career.

Ashton Lansdell’s Mother, Dana, Is An Enterprise Risk Coordinator At United Fidelity Bank

Ashton Lansdell’s mother, Dana Staltare, has been excelling in her career and currently serves as the VP and Enterprise Risk Coordinator of United Fidelity Bank in Marietta, Georgia.

Prior to her recent position, Dana worked as an IT Risk Analyst and Coordinator of Ameris Bank in Atlanta, Georgia, for over four years.

Earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Flagler College in 1997, Dana began her career working as a progression consultant for Keane, Inc. for three years.

She further served as a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery consultant for Comdisco in Alpharetta, Georgia, and worked as a Technical Project Manager for Wells Fargo for almost 15 years in Marietta, Georgia.

Ashton’s mother, Dana, also served as the business analyst of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and USAN, INC.

Likewise, Dana Staltare has been happily married to Peter Staltare, Ashton Lansdell’s stepfather, for almost four years.
