Paige Bueckers: How is her game like?

I watched a couple of matches from her U19 FIBA World Cup run over the summer to understand how Bueckers would play at UConn and maybe beyond.

She played on and off the ball next to another top prospect, Hailey Van Lith of Louisville, and was named MVP of the tournament.

She had 12 points on average, a tournament-leading five assists, and four rebounds.

Bueckers is a right-point guard who is at her best when she has the ball in her possession.

Her figures may have been better without playing next to the conventional point guard in Van Lith (who is also an elite prospect).

Passing is the excellent standard of Bueckers, and it’s not just the dazzling no-look moves.

Bueckers is an elite passer of pick-and-roll and quick break whose pinpoint precision would make her a name.
