He graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in 2015, earning letters in baseball for three years.
During his time there, he played a pivotal role in the Gaels, achieving a remarkable 33-2 overall record in 2015 and securing Nevada State and Sunset Region championships.
Chase continued his baseball journey at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Regarding his personal life, he married Scarlet Paterson on June 25, 2022.
Both were UNLV athletes, with Chase on the baseball team and Scarlet on the pom team. Their paths crossed through mutual friends, establishing a connection.
Scarlet graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2020.
Additionally, she completed her master’s in Special Education and Teaching from the same university in May 2023.
Currently, she has been serving as a Special Education Teacher at Pinecrest Academy Inspirada (K-8) since August 2021.
